Find more about cheap storage sheds
I need one pretty cheap storage shed built in my backyard in Charlotte, North Carolina.?
I do not want to buy one of the prefabricated Lowe's or Home Depot, because they are too expensive for me to have to create myself. I called maintenance personnel, but others wanted in the thousands. Nothing larger than around 8 by 8
I hear this all the time. Here's a quick summary of my material costs n 8×8 shed. Approx. 48 2×4 and 8 sheets of plywood for walls, around $ 300, the ceiling would be 11 for singing and 2×6 beams and 3 more sheets of plywood or about $ 125. Floor: 2 plywood over and 9 sheets of 2×6 or $ 110. Or maybe a concrete floor. The ship docks to sit? $ 40. And paper covers two squares of shingles over $ 50, screws, nails, hinges, only very basics about $ 100. That's $ 725 in materials for a base box. There are no windows, no ramp, no lights, no drip edge, the coating fails, do not adjust without shelves, unpainted. Two windows will cost $ 250, cheap vinyl windows only pain. Add another $ 400 – $ 600 for coating, etc. and you're looking at $ 1500 + in materials! Unless you want to go with one of metal sheds will have to bite the bullet and cough up the cash. Watch for materials used in newspapers recycling in your area. Maybe you hit the jack pot. Good luck to you.
