Terms and Conditions

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If there are ever any problems with an order you received from us & you wish to return or exchange an item; email or call us to resolve the problem and get a return authorization number (RA) for your merchandise. Upon receipt of your return, your credit card will be credited for the original purchase price of the product less shipping charges. Your original shipping charges are non refundable and you are responsible for the cost of returning the item's to us. Clearance, special/custom orders and special offers (Free Shipping or Promotional) items are not returnable unless they are defective or shipped incorrectly. In the case of defective or incorrectly shipped items, these will be replaced at no additional charge to the customer.

Manufactured item's (non-custom, made-to-order) which are not considered pre-packed units and typically, will be stated on product description page. We will only issue a credit towards another future purchase from that specific manufactures product line, within 30 days from the date that you received it. To receive a refund or credit for merchandise less S&H, it must be new, unused, never installed or mounted and must include all of the original packaging and paper work. We must also receive this merchandise no later than 30 days upon receipt. To receive a credit or to exchange merchandise, the same conditions apply.

There are no credits or exchanges after 30 days. All shipping charges that apply to the return or exchange of merchandise, must be paid by the customer. All returns must be shipped prepaid and include a return number (RA). All exchanges must be shipped prepaid and include return number (RA). Customer is responsible for payment on re-shipment for exchanges. Returns will not be accepted if they are not approved, they will be sent back to sender. We reserve the right to refuse any shipment on any product that is returned damaged or in a damaged box. Cancellations: If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, you will be charged for all shipping charges (both ways). Refusal Of Shipment: If you refuse the order for no proper reason, you will be charged for all shipping, delivery and storage incurred.

-Warranty Policies-
1 to 15 year manufacture defect replacement warranty is offered (depending on the manufacture or grade of material). These warranty terms shall be listed on a individual bases in the product description page, and varies on each manufacture. If a warranty period is not stated on a product page please contact us for more information. On units with 12.5 ounce weight cover material, the manufacture offers a 15 year limited warranty on their cover material only. On units with 14.5 ounce weight cover material, the manufacture offers a 10 year pro rated limited warranty on their cover material only.(All claims base on manufacturers decision)

Note: Obtaining necessary permits is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Customers agree to hold Portable Garage LLC. and the manufacturer free of any liability for improper installation, maintenance and repair. It shall be the customers responsibility to check ALL required measurements and to make sure the shelter is the correct size, including door openings before placing a order. All manufacturer warranties are available upon request before any purchase. Warranty hard copies are provided with receipt your products.

What is not warranted: Manufacturers are not responsible for the following: (1) Used products; (2) Any product that has been used, altered or modified in any way not approved; (3) Depreciation; (4) Damage caused by lack of reasonable and proper maintenance; failure to follow instructions, directions, drawings and renderings; improper installation, misuse, lack of proper protection during installation, use or storage; (5) Damage resulting from accident, falling objects; (6) Damage due to normal maintenance or lack thereof; (7) Exposure to harmful chemicals, fumes or other substances, foreign or natural in the atmosphere; (8) Acts of God, which includes but is not limited to wind damage, excessive snow-load, flood, hail, fire: or (9) Unforeseen causes or circumstances, such as but not limited to adding load to the structure, or external forces In addition, there is NO guarantee of snow load or wind load, unless stamped engineered drawings have been provided for your shelter or building. Only engineered truss buildings have these available at an additional cost. FAILURE DUE TO IMPROPER INSTALLATION IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY.

-Custom Order Items-
All orders that are custom to your specifications (colors, size, material upgrade etc.) are non-returnable. These products are custom made to order and are not "off the shelf parts", items are custom manufactured to your specifications. We do not warehouse these products due to the specific nature of each order. For obvious reasons they cannot be returned under any circumstances. It is the customers responsibility for proper approval of installation by any of the following: building department, landlords, your communities CCR's, etc. If for some reason the custom system ordered was not manufactured as ordered or defective, we will supply any additional needed materials to complete your original order. Any additional materials not on the original order will be an additional charge (materials & shipping).
Absolutely no returns or refunds on custom orders (no exceptions).
 
-Pricing Policy-
This site may be changed at any time. We reserve the right to change prices without notice based on availability and supply. We are not responsible for clerical, printing and/or web publishing errors. All prices are in U.S. Dollars. Prices do not include shipping or sales tax (if applicable).

Price Match Terms and Conditions:
»We do not price match items that are advertised as closeout, clearance or overstocked.
»Price match is before shipping charges are added.
»Can not be combined with any other special offers or coupons.
»Items must be identical and brand new.
»Items must be offered by a authorized US retailer, for the product / brand.
»We do not price match internet auctions or manufacturer wholesale prices.
»Price match must occur before or during time of purchase.
»Due to manufacturer pricing requirements some items may not be eligible for price match.
»Our Price Match policy is subject to change at any time.
»We reserve the right to deny, or process a order, if terms of the price match were not met.

How to Apply: Just supply us with the website displaying the item and lower price or a written quote showing the item and lower price and we will meet or beat it by five dollars!

-Backorder Policy-
Occasionally a backorder will happen. Once in a while, the demand for certain items may overwhelm the manufacturer's ability to keep adequate stock. This item may not have been available either when you ordered it originally (We couldn't update the website fast enough!), or another customer's order placed ahead of yours may have depleted the available inventory. In this case, you will receive an e-mail or phone call notifying you of the circumstances. In situations like this, we make every effort to to cross-reference the item to a comparable manufacturer's line.

If cross-referencing is not an option, we will not bill you until that item is ready to be shipped to you. Note: Due to variations in manufacturer shipping times, active backorders are kept open for a maximum of 60 days. If the item is not available from the manufacturer after this time, the backorder will be cancelled, at which time you may re-order or substitute a similar item. It is very important to us that you are completely satisfied with your entire order, every time. We apologize in advanced for any kind of future inconvenience.

-Payment Methods-
We accept: Master card, Visa, American Express, Discover and *Pay Pal. When using credit cards, the name and billing address associated with your card must match exactly what you enter on our payment information page or we will not accept the order. We also accept money orders, cashiers check or *personal checks - funds must clear before shipment, usually 3 business days. Please Note: For fraud protection, we only accept PayPal on international orders (no exceptions).

-Shipping Policies-
In most cases we process your order the same day it is placed before 2:00pm EST. Monday-Friday or the following business day, if placed after 2:00pm on weekdays, or any time on weekends or holidays, orders will be processed the following business day. Delivery times may vary depending on the availability and the location from where the merchandise is being shipped to. Orders are processed only after payment information has been verified and approved. All products come directly from the manufacturer. We do not manufacture any parts what so ever. The vast majority of products we sell are stock items, however at any time they may become out of stock and on backorder. Shelter Solutions shall not be responsible for any late shipments due to out of stock, backorders, ect. Shipping date estimates are given by the manufacturer and relayed to the customer. We do not have any control over the production or shipping process, therefore we do not guarantee any estimates. All shipping dates given are approximate. Please Note: Due to the nature of some products (size, weight, distribution location & fuel surcharges) shipping cost can not be calculated in store check out. In that case your card will not be charged until customer service confirms your order details and total (either via email or phone). All item's are shipped standard ground. If express shipment is needed please contact us for additional cost and details.

Freight Procedures: Shelters too heavy to ship by UPS or standard carrier, will be shipped via motor freight. Truck deliveries require someone to sign and help with unloading.
Our freight company will contact all customers directly to schedule a delivery time.
 
Kindly note that orders delivered via Freight, as the customer you are responsible for:
1. Assist on unloading the order from the delivery truck, freight companies do not require their drivers to unload shipments. An additional lift gate fee may apply if the driver unloads the merchandise.
2. Being sure that your address is capable of accepting this type of shipment.
3. Being present for delivery to inspect and sign for your shipment.
4. Notating any shipment damage or shortage on the freight bill. All charges for any redelivery of the shipment are the customer's responsibility and will be charged to the customer's original method of payment.
 

Special Shipping: Overnight, 2-Day and 3-Day shipping also known as special shipping is offered only as a courtesy to the customer. Portable Garage LLC. does not recommend this type of shipping due to cost. If a customer decides to use one of these special shipping methods they take full liability. Any shipping delays or errors in shipment including shortages special shipping will not be refunded and is considered a complete loss to the customer. Any replacement parts will be shipped regular shipping unless customer wants to pay an additional fee, and still take full liability. We are not responsible for any special shipping delays, (overnight, 2-day, etc.) shipping times are guaranteed only by the carrier. Any written or expressed shipping times are given by the shipping carrier and relayed to the customer. Special shipping charges are NOT refundable.

Shipping Damages and Shortages: Unfortunately shipping damages do occasionally occur, if your package is damaged it must be noted at time of delivery, by signing the release form/bill of lading you are agreeing that shipment is in good condition. It is very important to note any damage on bill of lading, if it is not noted you will be responsible for the damage recovery from the carrier. You will need to report any damage to us; on the date of delivery. You have 5 days to report any damages, after that period any and all shipping damages will become your responsibility. Any replacement parts for damages or shortages may be shipped in different lengths than the original shipment at our manufacturer discretion.

UPS Notes: UPS will not deliver to APO, FPO or PO Box #'s. All deliveries must be within the Continental US. If you are outside the Continental US or have special delivery needs, please contact us for assistance. Deliveries to non-UPS shippable addresses may take longer to arrive. No refunds for any special shipping delays (overnight, 2 day air, etc.). We will deliver to AE, APO, AP, FPO at a higher rate variance, via U.S.P.S at customers risk, no tracking numbers are available through U.S.P.S parcel post.

International Orders: All orders out of the US will be shipped via U.S.P.S No exceptions!
